When I work with markdown files, this panel pops up when selecting. Is there any way to disable it? It really gets in the way and distracts, for example, I just want to copy some text.

I have already checked all the settings of this plugin, but I did not find such an option.

Go to the IDE Settings/Preferences, type markdown in the search field and enable an option for the floating toolbar.

Settings/Preferences | Advanced Settings | Hide floating toolbar

P.S. IDE restart might be required (to affect currently opened files).

You can go to "Settings/Preferences > Editor > General> Appearance" option, and disabling the annoying option (s) should do the trick.

Note : The interface might differ slightly if you are on Windows.

That's not for the popup. It's for the intentions bulb (can be seen as a yellow kind of dot on the same line on the left -- on OPs screenshot)
