where to find format API reference?

Question

i just discovered this (see top answer) where they used format() for bulk query, but i can't find format anywhere in both mysql and mysql2 docs. Does anyone know where to find it?

i was looking at both mysql and mysql2 gh readme and scanned most of the related section except the escaping query section T_T maybe i was just having a bad luck, anyways thanks!! — user31750755

In mysqljs repo readme they say

As mysql.format is exposed from SqlString.format

The sqlstring repo readme in turn document what it can handle, but the source itself is fairly straightforward so you can read it if you still miss something.

thanks a lot! i missed that section, i was too focused on performing queries section and didn't knew that it was next to what i was looking for haha
