I have troubles connecting to my vector layer URL endpoint with data using the project variable 'project_id'

I was trying to use

.../[% project_id %]/ground_hazards

And it fails. I know that variable is set in Options. Endpoint working with e.g. number 530..

What is the problem? QGIS version 3.40
