My goal is to make text with Dynamic Color enabled more bright and readable, like how it looks without the Dynamic Color. I know that I can set text color programmatically, but this is an approach, not a solution.

See screenshots below.

Other apps don't have this issue. Fallback theme (without dynamic color) is generated with the Material Theme Builder.

I just use this in my Application class: DynamicColors.applyToActivitiesIfAvailable(this); to apply Dynamic Color theme.

Fallback theme (without dynamic color, looks normally):

    <style name="AppTheme" parent="Theme.Material3Expressive.Dark.NoActionBar">

  • I can just assume that your actual question is how to not make the colors faded but could you add this bit of info - or your real goal? Thanks in advance! Commented Nov 26 at 6:51

    @Radinator Yes, exactly, I need to make text in Dynamic Color mode more bright. In current state, it's poorly readable, and it definitely shouldn't look like that. I know that I can set text color programmatically, but this is an approach, not a solution. Commented Nov 26 at 7:10
