Update: I have updated Blender and used the Manifold option as suggested in the comments by @Lutzi and it worked! Thank you for your help!

I have been trying to set up a similar animation by following this YouTube Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TarT11HWHyU&t=8s

Only my affected object is a pumpkin and I am trying to keyframe a Null-Object to follow after another object to graudally remove the front of the pumpkin-mesh.

The problem occurs in render: The ico-sphere used in the geometry nodes appears in some frames. I have tried checking hole tolerant but it did not help.

attached the geometry node setup and the render result.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

$\begingroup$ If your meshes are manifold, then the Mesh Boolean node should be of type manifold (not float). That would be the most stable solution. $\endgroup$ Commented Oct 19 at 22:37
  • $\begingroup$ Dear Lutzi, thanks, I will try rendering it again with the exact option. $\endgroup$ Commented Oct 20 at 17:05
  • $\begingroup$ Note that this isn't about rendering but about geometry/mesh/topology. The manifold option is stable, more reliable, and also faster to compute than the exact option. $\endgroup$ Commented Oct 20 at 17:30
  • $\begingroup$ But it does not offer me the manifold option. Do I need to activate some extension for that? $\endgroup$ Commented Oct 20 at 17:35
  • $\begingroup$ Ok I think I need to update my blender... $\endgroup$ Commented Oct 20 at 17:44
